Operation Cyan was originally developed by the National Crime Squad (NCS) investigating an organised crime group trafficking Class ‘A’ (Cocaine & Ecstasy) and Class ‘B’ (Amphetamine & Cannabis) controlled drugs into the South Wales and Dyfed Powys Police areas.

Cyan was executed in collaboration with South Wales Police and resulted in the deployment of over 100 officers and over 20 premises were searched in a coordinated exercise where a number of arrests were made.  In total 524gms of Cocaine, 1095gms of Amphetamine Sulphate and 46 Ecstasy tablets were seized as well as £121,000 in cash. The total sentence length of the 12 convicted was 59 years and 6 months.
